Passport Renewal Application
Documents to be Submitted for Renewal of Passport
- Duly filled-in application Form P.F.136A;
- Two passport photos duly countersigned (white background and matt finish);
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate;
- Photocopy of Previous Mauritius Passport (first 2 pages);
- Photocopy of Hong Kong ID;
- Photocopy of Residence Permit, if applicable.
*Applicant should present the original copy of above documents for certification as true copy during submission.
Application Procedure
All required documents should be submitted to Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Mauritius in Hong Kong (HC) for verification. The documents will be sent to the Embassy of Mauritius in Beijing for transmission to Passport and Immigration Office (PIO) in Mauritius for the issue of the new passport.
Proceeding Time
An average of 4 months is required for the processing of an application after all documents have been submitted.

NOTE
Paragraph (6B) of Form P.F.136A – Certification of Consent: For Mauritian citizens living or residing in Hong Kong, consent can be given at Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Mauritius.
